With the support from Japan – ASEAN Solidarity Fund, the project is implemented by Asian Institute of Technology, and partners with the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP, Cambodia), Public Work and Transportation Institute (PTI) of the Ministry of Communication, Transport, Post and Construction (MCTPC, Lao PDR), Economic and Development Association (EcoDev, Myanmar), and Transport Development and Strategic Institute (TDSI) of Ministry of Transport (MOT, Vietnam).

RUPP

The Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP)is Cambodia’s oldest and largest university. It hosts more than 9000 scholarship and full-fee paying students, across a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. It is unique in Cambodia for offering specialist degrees in fields including the sciences, humanities and social sciences, as well as vocational courses in fields such as information technology, electronics, psychology and tourism. RUPP also provides Cambodia’s foremost degree-level language programs through the Institute of Foreign Languages. Due to its many achievements, RUPP is the only university in Cambodia with full membership of the ASEAN University Network (AUN).

PTI
Public Work and Transportation Institute (PTI-former Urban Research Institute or URI) is a legal technical organisation which functions to assist the Ministry of Communication, Transport, Post and Construction (MCTPC, Lao PDR) in the areas of research, technique and technology of urban planning and other fields as assigned by the Ministry.
EcoDev
Economic and Development Association (EcoDev, Myanmar) With the focus on economically progressive Ecosystem Development, ECODEV is a group intellectually dedicated for promoting Technology Advancement, Environmental Governance and Rural Development Initiatives for better changes in Myanmar. Since early 1990s, ECODEV has been active for civil society development and thereby gradually intensified the grassroots development activity, with the official registration in Year 2000 under Myanmar Partnership Act.
TDSI
The Transport Development and Strategic Institute (TDSI) is one of the government agencies under the Vietnam Ministry of Transport (MoT). It assists MoT to update and implement the Rural Transport Strategy (RTS) for Vietnam.
